It's been a fast week. Things are going good. Things are slowing down a little, but they can definitely still slow down more. When I focus I pick up most things. But I have to focus and there in lies the problem.
Church was good yesterday. We didn't really have to do anything except bless the sacrament. I did alright with the prayer, definitely wasn't terrible. We went to Gospel Principles with some investigators we had there, and then Elders Quorum. There was only like 8 of us in there I think. Oh yeah the Bishop is 29 I think. Fun stuff for him. And the Ward Mission Leader is 18. Fun stuff for him.
Hmm... Paleca is either in Delgado or near it. Maybe Soyapongo. Our Zone is Soyapongo. Im not really sure. I hope that helps. Its the Paleca Ward...so who knows...
I actually got your letter last Thursday when we had a Zone meeting. Just keep using that address you have. The ZLs pick up letters like every Monday, and distribute them when we get together on Thursdays. I know the letter had a stamp that said El Salvador received it Sept 30...so like 6 days after you sent it. I guess 5 cause Sunday is in there. So it doesn't take too long to get here. Its just that they don't pick up til Monday and I don't receive until Thursday. At least you don't have to worry about transfers or anything like that.
Its been pretty hot lately. There haven't been very many clouds so its been hot. Maybe because I think we might have gone into dry season. It kind of sucks. I have to watch myself and drink a lot of water or gatorade. Which reminds me of Christmas. Because for Christmas I want more drink flavoring things. And Skittles. Tropical Skittles. And maybe cookies. and contacts. That's a sad christmas list. Oh well. Food is good. Always.
Right now, we are teaching a couple families. One has like 7 that can be baptized. One has 4. and the other has 2. They all have some younger kids that can't be baptized. And we ran into this one girl who can't talk but understands the things we write. She only likes our church (her mom told us that): When she saw that we were from the Church her face lit up and she got really excited. And there are a few random others. So we got a few that we teach. They are all kind of progressing slowly. And to find new investigators we can knock doors. That's basically the only way we find them.
Talking is interesting. I think I can express myself pretty well but I still don't understand everything obviously. I´ll get lost in conversations and not know what to say. I can basically understand my comp 100% of the time. Only sometimes I can't.
Sounds like it was a fun birthday for Erik, and that overall everything is good.
You can always tell when there is a drunk person because they try to talk to us in English.
"Guys! GUYS! Hey guys! Where are you going?" Its pretty funny.
We go to an internet cafe to write too. We played some basketball today because we killed the soccer ball :) So far, its been a good P-day. I got to go. Later
